Applications of Acid Dyes

1.Recommended Dyeing

1.1 Strong Acid and Weak Acid Bath Dyeing
Dyeing Procedure of Acid Dyes:
Step 1:Adjusting the dye bath to the regulated bath ratio and 40 degree.
Step 2:Switch on the machine for 5 minutes to make the materials completely wet.
Step 3:Add acid to adjust to the appropriate pH value and add acid dyestuff leveling agent and Na2S04 if necessary.
Also,switch on the machine for 5 minutes.
Step 4:Add completely dissolved dyes and heat up to boil within 30 minutes.
Step 5:Dyeing for 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
Temperature-rise curve is shown in figure 2-4-1.

1.2 Neulral Dath Dyeing
Dyeing Procedure of Acid Dyes:
Step 1:Adjusting the dye bath to the regulated bath ratio and 40C.
Step 2:Switch on the machine for 5 minutes to make the dyed materials completely wet.
Step 3:Add acid or ammonium salt to adjust to the appropriate PH value and add acid dyestuff leveling agent if necessary.
Step 4:Switch on the machine for 5 minutes.
Step 5:Add completely dissolved dyes and heat up to 95’C within 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
Step 6:Dyeing for 60 minutes to 90 minutes.Temperature-rise curve is shown in figure 2-4-

2.Post-processing and Acidizing
Recommend add 1-2%formic acid in the last shower bath.Improving the wool felt and the spinning performance ofscattered wool and woolen sliver,also the fabric’s heat water washing fastness and mouldproof.

3.Fixing
Usually less dosage of dyes and used in light and extra light color,so no need to fix color with good color fastness,but also accords to demands.In deep color,the technology and formula of fixation like below:Based on lab criteria,the information and technical advice is just for your reference,please note that the operation is subject to actual practice.
